Distant calls audible.

For almost the past two hours we have been listening to the A30s as they travel through Johnstone Strait.

Distant calls audible.

The A30's passed the rubbing beaches few minutes ago only offshore. It sounds like they continiue to the east.

Superb sounds!!

Wild and wonderful. The a30s are back off Critical Point and despite the boat noise this is amazing. They are headed west.

No calls but orcas nearby

The A30's came this morning up to CRPT from the east and went up to Cp where they built a resting line and turned again to the east. 25min ago we had ecolocation on CRPT. We are waiting for them to coming up to the Rubbing Beaches.

Distant calls audible.

Around 7:20pm the A30s came back from east of Critical Point and travelled west. A short while ago their distant calls are still audible in johnstone Strait. It is not clear how far to the west they have currently come. On the last run to the west they only got as far as Cracroft Point before they turned back to the east. No word on the A12s so far today.

Distant calls audible.

This helps: the A30s are still east of Cracroft Point perhaps already moving back toward the Bight.

Orcas near mics.

Hmmm... not going east but west to CP! The A30s sound as if they are spread out but now approaching Cracroft Point. Calls are quite infrequent.
