10 September 2007, Orcalab reports:

No orcas present.

The fog is lifting in very pretty patterns. The a30s have been located near the Broken Islands (east of West cracroft Island) heading west.

Orcas near mics.

We're hearing close calls & echolocation from the A30s on the Critical Point hydrophone. Over the past few hours, they made their way to the west, mostly on the Cracroft Island side of the Strait, then they crossed over to the Vancouver Island side & are now in Robson Bight, headed back east again.

The A30s finished their evening rub and headed off to the east.

A few more calls and then some major Blackney Pass distractions. Three humpbacks surrounded by dolphins and a few sealions are headed north "together".
