Distant calls audible.

The A30s are again calling in the area between Robson Bight and Cracroft Point.

No calls but orcas nearby

It seems likely that the A30s have headed north through Blackney Pass on the beginning of the ebbing tide, and are now in Blackfish Sound. They are silent for the moment.

Superb sounds!!

The A30s have reached Robson Bight & are now approaching Critical Point. Lovely calls, & echolocation too... sounds like at least some of them are having a bite in the Bight!

Orcas rubbing on the shore bottom.

The A30s are in the midst of what sounds like a great rub.

The a30s are on their way back to the west opposite the Ecological Reserve. Earlier, they had gone east from the rubbing beaches.

The latest theory is that the A30s continued to the west. They hesitated when they got to Little Kaikash and could be heard turning first, back to the east, and then soon after back to the west. This movement coincided with their burst of calls. Since then only their fading blows were heard to the west. The tide will continue to ebb until 1:30am.
